Seven, also styled Se7en, is a 1995 crime thriller directed by David Fincher. In a rain-soaked, unnamed city, veteran detective William Somerset, played by Morgan Freeman, is a week from retirement when he is partnered with the young and impulsive David Mills, played by Brad Pitt. Together they investigate a series of grim murders, each built around one of the seven deadly sins, and realize the killer is following a careful plan. Gwyneth Paltrow plays Mills's wife Tracy.
