George Miller's 2015 action film is one long chase across a post-apocalyptic desert. Imperator Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron, turns her armored War Rig away from the Citadel, smuggling out the five wives of the warlord Immortan Joe. Captured drifter Max Rockatansky, played by Tom Hardy, and the young War Boy Nux are pulled along as Joe's army roars after them. Practical stunts, huge vehicles and very little dialogue make it a modern sci-fi adventure classic.
