The Boondock Saints is a 1999 crime action film written and directed by Troy Duffy. Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus play Connor and Murphy MacManus, devout Irish Catholic twins working at a Boston meatpacking plant. After killing two Russian mobsters in self-defense, they come to believe they have been chosen by God to destroy evil men, and begin hunting the city's criminals with their friend Rocco. Willem Dafoe plays FBI agent Paul Smecker, who investigates the killings and starts to sympathize with them.
