The Intouchables is a 2011 French comedy drama written and directed by Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano, inspired by a true story. Philippe, a rich Parisian left quadriplegic after a paragliding accident and played by François Cluzet, hires Driss, played by Omar Sy, a blunt young man from the suburbs who only came for a signature. Driss treats him without pity, brings funk music, jokes and fast cars into his life, and the two very different men form a deep and funny friendship.
