Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a 2003 science fiction action film directed by Jonathan Mostow. A decade after Judgment Day was supposedly prevented, the adult John Connor, played by Nick Stahl, lives off the grid in Los Angeles. Skynet sends the T-X, a deadly female Terminator played by Kristanna Loken, to kill his future lieutenants, while the resistance sends a T-850, played by Arnold Schwarzenegger, to protect John and veterinarian Kate Brewster as the rise of the machines draws near.
