A.I. Artificial Intelligence is a 2001 science fiction drama directed by Steven Spielberg from a project developed by Stanley Kubrick. In a future of rising seas, Haley Joel Osment plays David, a childlike android who is the first robot built to love. Adopted by a couple whose own son lies in a coma, David is later abandoned and, with his robot teddy bear and the companion robot Gigolo Joe, played by Jude Law, he searches for the Blue Fairy from Pinocchio, hoping she can make him human.
