Zack Snyder's 2016 superhero epic picks up eighteen months after the battle of Metropolis. Bruce Wayne, a weary Batman played by Ben Affleck, sees Henry Cavill's Superman as a threat to humanity, while the public and the Senate argue about an alien who answers to no one. Clark Kent, in turn, is troubled by the brutal Gotham vigilante. Behind the scenes the young billionaire Lex Luthor plays both sides, and the mysterious Diana Prince keeps appearing at the edges of the story.
