The Father is a 2020 drama directed by Florian Zeller in his film debut, adapted from his own stage play. Anthony Hopkins, who won an Oscar for the role, plays Anthony, an elderly Londoner who refuses every carer his daughter Anne, played by Olivia Colman, tries to hire.
