The Mask is a 1994 fantasy comedy directed by Chuck Russell. Jim Carrey plays Stanley Ipkiss, a mild-mannered bank clerk in Edge City who discovers an ancient wooden mask. When he puts it on, he becomes the Mask, a zoot-suited, green-faced trickster with the powers of a living cartoon. He dazzles nightclub singer Tina Carlyle, played by Cameron Diaz in her film debut, and gets tangled up with gangster Dorian Tyrell and the police. Stanley's loyal dog Milo also plays a part in the fun.
