Created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, this Fox science fiction mystery ran from 2008 to 2013. Anna Torv plays FBI agent Olivia Dunham, who teams up with eccentric scientist Walter Bishop, played by John Noble, and his son Peter, played by Joshua Jackson, to investigate a pattern of strange phenomena. Their cases lead to the silent bald Observers and a parallel universe, and the series is loved for Walter's humour and its emotional father-son story.
