Moon is a 2009 science fiction drama and the feature debut of director Duncan Jones. Sam Rockwell plays Sam Bell, the only worker on a Lunar Industries base that mines helium-3 on the far side of the Moon, with the robot GERTY, voiced by Kevin Spacey, as his only company. Two weeks before his three-year contract ends and he can return to his wife and daughter, Sam has an accident on the surface, and what he finds afterwards makes him question who he is and what the company has been hiding.
