Pixar's 1998 animated adventure comedy, directed by John Lasseter, takes place in a colony of ants forced to gather food for a gang of grasshoppers led by the menacing Hopper. When clumsy inventor Flik accidentally loses the offering, he sets off to find warriors to fight back. He returns with a group of out-of-work circus performers, from a ladybug to a stick insect, who think they've been hired for a show. Princess Atta and little Dot round out the cast.
