Big Daddy is a 1999 comedy directed by Dennis Dugan and starring Adam Sandler. Sonny Koufax is a law school graduate in New York who prefers sleeping late and doing nothing. When his girlfriend leaves him for being immature, he takes in Julian, a five-year-old boy who turns up at his door, and raises him with his own wildly unorthodox rules. As the pair grow close and the authorities start asking questions, Sonny has to decide whether he is ready to grow up for the boy's sake.
