Pixar's 2001 comedy, directed by Pete Docter, is set in Monstropolis, a city powered by children's screams collected through closet doors. Top scarer James P. Sullivan, known as Sulley, and his one-eyed best friend Mike Wazowski are thrown into chaos when a fearless little girl they call Boo follows Sulley into the monster world. Hiding her from their bosses and the sneaky Randall, they uncover a plot at the company. A funny, warm animated adventure.
