Blue Sky Studios' 2002 animated adventure comedy, directed by Chris Wedge, is set at the dawn of the ice age. Grumpy woolly mammoth Manny reluctantly teams up with chatty sloth Sid to bring a lost human baby back to his tribe. They are joined by Diego, a sabre-tooth tiger with a hidden agenda of his own. Along the way the mismatched herd faces glaciers, lava and each other, while the squirrel Scrat endlessly chases his acorn.
