Taika Waititi's 2017 action comedy sends the God of Thunder on his wildest adventure. After Hela, the goddess of death, returns to claim the throne of Asgard and shatters his hammer, Thor ends up on the garbage planet Sakaar, where the eccentric Grandmaster forces him to fight in the arena against an old friend, the Hulk. Teaming up with his trickster brother Loki and a hard-drinking former Valkyrie, Thor races to get home and save his people. Funny, colorful and full of retro synth music.
