Blue Sky Studios' 2006 animated adventure comedy, directed by Carlos Saldanha, is the sequel to Ice Age. The ice age is coming to an end, and the valley where Manny the mammoth, Sid the sloth and Diego the sabre-tooth tiger live is about to be flooded by melting glaciers. On their trek to safety they meet Ellie, a mammoth who believes she is a possum, and her brothers Crash and Eddie. Meanwhile Scrat keeps chasing his acorn, causing chaos wherever he goes.
