Terminator Salvation is a 2009 science fiction action film directed by McG and the fourth film in the Terminator series. Set in 2018 after Judgment Day, it follows Resistance leader John Connor, played by Christian Bale, as he fights Skynet's machines across a ruined America. His path crosses with Marcus Wright, played by Sam Worthington, a former death row inmate who wakes up in this world with no idea how he got there, and with the teenage Kyle Reese, the man Connor knows he must protect.
