Lady Bird is a 2017 coming-of-age comedy drama written and directed by Greta Gerwig in her solo directing debut. Saoirse Ronan plays Christine McPherson, a Sacramento senior who insists on being called Lady Bird and longs to escape to a college on the East Coast.
