Created by Joe Penhall with David Fincher directing many episodes, this Netflix crime drama ran from 2017 to 2019. Jonathan Groff plays Holden Ford and Holt McCallany plays Bill Tench, FBI agents who, with psychologist Wendy Carr, start interviewing jailed murderers such as Ed Kemper and Charles Manson to build the science of criminal profiling. Slow-burning and tense, the series follows how the work changes them while they chase the Atlanta child murders and a killer in Kansas.
