Created by Charlie Covell from the graphic novel by Charles Forsman, this British dark comedy road drama ran on Channel 4 and Netflix from 2017 to 2019. Alex Lawther plays James, a 17-year-old convinced he is a psychopath, and Jessica Barden plays Alyssa, a furious classmate who talks him into running away. Their trip across England turns into a crime spree and an unlikely love story. Deadpan voiceovers and a retro soundtrack set its tone, and a second season adds Naomi Ackie as Bonnie.
