Once Upon a Time in the West is a 1968 epic western directed by Sergio Leone with a famous score by Ennio Morricone. As a railroad pushes across the frontier, Jill McBain, played by Claudia Cardinale, arrives to find her new family murdered on their land. A silent stranger called Harmonica, played by Charles Bronson, and the charming outlaw Cheyenne come to her side against Frank, a cold-blooded gunman played by Henry Fonda. Slow, operatic and full of tension, it is often called one of the greatest westerns ever made.
