Yes Man is a 2008 romantic comedy directed by Peyton Reed. Jim Carrey plays Carl Allen, a divorced loan officer who avoids friends, parties and anything new. After a self-help seminar led by guru Terrence Bundley, played by Terence Stamp, Carl promises to answer yes to every question. Flying lessons, Korean classes and late-night gigs follow, along with a romance with quirky singer Allison, played by Zooey Deschanel, until saying yes to everything starts to create problems of its own.
