Harold Ramis's 1993 fantasy comedy stars Bill Murray as Phil Connors, an arrogant Pittsburgh weatherman sent to cover the Groundhog Day festival in Punxsutawney with producer Rita, played by Andie MacDowell. Snowed in, he wakes up the next morning to find it is February 2nd all over again, and again. After exploiting the loop and despairing of it, Phil begins to use his endless time to change. A clever, funny and surprisingly philosophical classic.
