Big is a 1988 fantasy comedy directed by Penny Marshall. After being turned away from a carnival ride for being too short, young Josh Baskin makes a wish at a Zoltar fortune-telling machine and wakes up as a thirty-year-old, played by Tom Hanks. Hiding from his worried mother, he moves to New York, lands a job at a toy company where his childlike sense of fun makes him a star, and falls for co-worker Susan, while learning that growing up has its price.
