About Time is a 2013 romantic comedy drama written and directed by Richard Curtis. On his 21st birthday Tim Lake, played by Domhnall Gleeson, is told by his father, played by Bill Nighy, that the men in their family can travel back to moments of their own lives. Tim moves to London and uses the gift to win over Mary, an American played by Rachel McAdams, but he soon discovers that no amount of time travel can protect the people he loves from life's ups and downs. A warm film about everyday happiness.
