Pulp Fiction is a 1994 crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. Told out of order, it weaves together the stories of hitmen Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield, played by John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson, their boss Marsellus Wallace and his wife Mia, played by Uma Thurman, and the aging boxer Butch Coolidge, played by Bruce Willis. Sharp dialogue, dark humor and a famous soundtrack made it one of the defining films of the 1990s.
