Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is a 2017 action adventure comedy directed by Jake Kasdan and a sequel to the 1995 Jumanji. Four teenagers in detention find an old video game console and are pulled into the world of Jumanji as avatars played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. Learning their new strengths and weaknesses, they must return a jewel to a giant jaguar statue and escape the villain Van Pelt before they lose all their lives.
