The Interview is a 2014 satirical comedy directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. James Franco plays Dave Skylark, host of a shallow celebrity talk show, and Rogen plays his producer Aaron Rapaport. When they learn that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is a fan, they arrange an interview in Pyongyang, and the CIA asks the pair to use the trip for an assassination plot. Out of their depth, they face guards, a charming dictator played by Randall Park and their own incompetence.
