DreamWorks' 2008 animated action comedy, directed by Mark Osborne and John Stevenson, is set in ancient China. Po, a panda who works in his father's noodle shop and idolizes the Furious Five, is surprisingly named the Dragon Warrior by the wise Master Oogway. Strict Master Shifu has little faith in him, but time is short: the fearsome snow leopard Tai Lung has escaped from prison and is coming for the Dragon Scroll. A funny underdog story about believing in yourself, with lively martial-arts action.
