Shazam! is a 2019 superhero comedy from DC directed by David F. Sandberg. Fourteen-year-old Billy Batson, a runaway foster kid in Philadelphia played by Asher Angel, is chosen by an ancient wizard and can become the grown-up superhero Shazam, played by Zachary Levi, by speaking a single word. With his superhero-obsessed foster brother Freddy he tests his powers and enjoys the fame, until the villainous Dr. Sivana, played by Mark Strong, comes after the magic.
