Joss Whedon's 2012 superhero film brings together the heroes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. When Thor's brother Loki steals the Tesseract and plans to open a portal for an alien army, S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury recruits Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Bruce Banner, Thor, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton. The clashing egos must learn to work as a team before New York becomes a battlefield. A funny, action-packed ensemble adventure.
