Me Before You is a 2016 romantic drama directed by Thea Sharrock and adapted by Jojo Moyes from her own bestselling novel. Emilia Clarke plays Louisa Clark, a bubbly small-town woman who takes a job looking after Will Traynor, a once adventurous banker left paralysed after a road accident and played by Sam Claflin. Will is bitter and withdrawn at first, but Lou's bright clothes and stubborn good humour slowly win him over, while he pushes her to see a bigger life for herself.
