DreamWorks' 2004 animated comedy, directed by Andrew Adamson, Kelly Asbury and Conrad Vernon, continues the story of the ogre Shrek and Princess Fiona. Back from their honeymoon, the newlyweds are invited to Far Far Away to meet Fiona's parents, who expected a handsome prince as their son-in-law. The scheming Fairy Godmother and her son Prince Charming have plans of their own, and Shrek and Donkey get help from a swashbuckling cat, Puss in Boots. A fairy-tale parody packed with pop-culture jokes.
