Before Sunset is a 2004 romantic drama directed by Richard Linklater and the sequel to Before Sunrise. Ethan Hawke plays Jesse, now a writer on a book tour in Paris, and Julie Delpy plays Celine, the woman he met on a train nine years earlier. With only an afternoon before his flight home, the two walk through the city, talking about love, regret and the lives they lead now. Told almost in real time, it is an intimate film built on conversation.
